Trustee
Scottsdale Fiduciary Services can be named as Trustee in your Revocable Trust. We carry out the terms of the Trust and assume the legal responsibility for the proper administration. This includes an inventory of the assets, investment management to protect the interests of the beneficiaries, handle real estate issues, tax responsibilities including the filing of the annual tax returns, and making distributions when the Trust comes to an end.
Executor
When Scottsdale Fiduciary Services is named as the Personal Representative or Executor in a Will we work to minimize taxes, resolve any administration problems, and provide prompt and proper distributions of the assets to the beneficiaries. We handle the collection and management of the estate assets. We work to ensure that all necessary requirements of the courts and taxing authorities are met. We prepare an inventory and provide an accounting to all beneficiaries and then make all necessary distributions.
Conservator of the Estate
When a person is unable to manage his or her own finances, the court will appointment someone to handle this task for them. When Scottsdale Fiduciary Services is appointed as a Conservator we work directly with each client according to his or her specific needs and current level of ability. We assume the legal obligations, establish an accounting, pay monthly bills, and establish an annual budget and accounting for an attorney to file with the court. We also provide investment management, we take care of all tax related responsibilities, handle real estate payments, taxes, and insurances.
